In a Museum of Toys and in Other Museums

Pomysł na tę pracę pisemną narodził się podczas wykonywania podręcznikowego zadania na słuchanie, w którym kilka osób opowiadało o starych zabawkach. A Bike in a Museum of Toys, by Janek Adamik, 7a

Last Saturday I went to a museum of toys with my family. In this museum, there were a lot of nice things to look at but only one of them was so pretty that I’m going to tell you about it.

That one thing that interested me so much was a small bike from over 70 years ago. It looked like it was made by someone who didn’t knew what he was doing. This bike didn’t have brakes and the wheels were made out of wood. It was very strange to see with how dangerous toys kids were playing back then. After visiting this place I can recommend it to everyone because it’s just so great.

The Shortest Report From a Museum of Toys, by Michał Pobłocki, 7b

A week ago I was at a museum. It was all about toys. For example there was an old doll that was really scary or there was a toy cannon that was meant only for boys. It is really interesting that toys for boys were meant to teach them about a war so they could be soldiers. I really liked this place and recommend it for others.

The Warsaw Uprising Museum, by Oskar Kerlin, 7b

The Warsaw Uprising Museum is the most modern museum in Warsaw. In it, we can not only read a lot interesting about the Uprising and see various exhibits related to that period (weapons, uniforms, vehicles and others), but also listen to witness accounts or watch recordings of the insurgents' struggle, inhuman practices of the Nazis or ruined Warsaw. This short description certainly does not reflect the great variety of materials on display in the museum. We will find there information about both the Warsaw Uprising itself and the period of the German occupation in 1939-1944 or post-war Soviet propaganda. In my opinion, it is a very interesting place and definitely worth going there.

Museum of Polish History, by Michał Czerwionka, 7a

Yesterday we were in the PolishHistory Museum, there were a lot of tanks, rifles and pistols, the whole exhibition was about World War II, you could learn a lot about our homeland during the war.

My opinion about this museum is good, because I am interested in the history of our country, I learned a lot of new information about World Wars I and II.

The Vatican Museums were created from the collected works of art by individual popes. In the collection of this museum are paintings, sculptures, frescoes and many other works, whose authors are the greatest masters.

The Vatican Museums include:

- Pinacoteca

- Pio-Clementino Museum

- Etruscan Museum

- Missionary-Ethnological Museum

- Chiaramonti Museum

The individual galleries house collections of tapestries, maps and books.
