Our school in wintertime

Dear new and old friends,

let us share some information about our school.

It's a rather small primary school (though the community keeps growing) nestled in a village called Przyjazn in the north of Poland in Kashubia region. The pupils /students, from grade 0 to grade 8, are aged from 4 to 15 (in some cases 16). All the basic subjects are taught here: languages (Polish, English, German plus Kashubian), mathematics, physics, chemistry, geography, biology, IT, PE, religious studies, social studies and art. Upon taking the three-part exam (Polish language, Mathematics and a foreign language), the graduates finish the first level of formal education and can continue in secondary schools, technical schools or vocational schools.

The school community consisting of students, teachers, other school employees and students' families and friends, is... well, friendly :). In fact, the name of our village translates as Friendship :).

The students taking part in two e-Twinning projects: "Amazing Nature" and "All in One - creating an online magazine" are in the last two grades, 7 and 8.

Here's a short glimpse at our school. We hope you enjoy the virtual visit as much as we enjoy coming here every day :).

Inside out and outside in :D.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! :)

As for friends of our school community, there's room for everyone: from 1 to 100 years old, from all directions and all paths of life, be them outgoing or shy,
human or non-human :).

Work-in-progress or work finished? This cool, sort of minimalistic trend is settled in the classroom where class 8b students reside. The decorative board was being made with sounds of... shanties filling the classroom! (Don't ask me why shanties and not Christmas / winter-season songs... :)).

Another work-in-progress (the classroom of class 7a students).
Seems like "less" is  new "more" :).

OK, so much for now. We're looking forward to getting to know more about you and your school environment :).
